I have a DELL C521 PC. I was given this PC as a gift, and I found out that due to it's "slim form" it only supports half sized PCIE and PCI cards. I have also discovered that the case opens on the right side rather then the left like most PC's I have seen. I need to find a case that will be compatible with the components currently in the PC. Any help appreciated.

You will not be able to reuse the motherboard in another case.

The C521 is a Dell Proprietary (small form factor-btx) motherboard.

It may are may not be possible but it wont be a straight swap for sure.

You probably will, but you'll need a BTX case, which there aren't that many of about.

No, ATX and MicroATX maybe, but rarely BTX, it's a completely different system.

Your Dell case will have a fixed rear I/O panel this will not be just a simple swap.As sammorris stated there is not that many btx case's to choose from.So if you get it to fit in one it will be a hacked up fit at best.

Newegg selling a whopping four BTX cases!

Never understood why BTX didn't catch on, it seems like a much better idea than sticking with ATX.

I think you might be able to use BTX with Mountain Mod cases, but they're even more expensive than the Kandalf I think.
