hi, can anyone teach me on how can i burn .avi together with the sub? cause i want to burn my file as data so i wont waste the space of my blank dvd disc but the problem is one of my movie needs to be in subtitle.. can anyone teach me on how to do it...

If you want to have permanent (not switchable) subs on an AVI and you have a separate subtitle file, use VirtualDub.

Alternatively, if the AVI is playable on a standalone (DivX compatible) player, simply rename the sub file to the same name as the AVI.
The subtitle file has to be in .srt format and the file names would be myfile.avi and myfile.srt - the files are burned as data on the dvd and are turned on and off with the remote.

where can i find the .vdf? the only thing that in my file is the .avi and the .srt

Download Subtitler.zip, extract and copy subtitler.vdf to the 'Plugins' folder that's part of the VirtualDub package.

It probably needs the XviD codec installed on the PC.
All of these can also be uninstalled if required.
