First post here so HI!!
I have a standalone Divx DVD player (Kiss DP-500) and want to put my 1 and 2 cd avi movies onto DVD without converting to Mpeg2 (quality loss)and design some menus for them, but can't find any software that will let me do this. All insist on re-encoding the movies.
I could stick them on DVD without a menu but I'm a stickler for those little touches.
Does anyone have any advice or know of some software that will let me do this.
Congrats on the player... I'm not sure if you can have menues for those though. Typically menues are associated with svcds/vcds/dvds etc. Oh and.... welcome :-)
Thought I may be able to create a standard DVD menu but with links to the AVI files rather than IFO/VOB files or programs as the player supports multiple media types. However I suspect that the player itself selects it's mode dependant on what is inserted, so if it reads a dvd menu it will want to play typical dvd content and probobly not divx. Oh well, I'll soldier on...
