I just downloaded all critical updates along with IE7 from the microsoft update site & rebooted the pc.
Now when i try to use Internet Explorer it takes me from my hope page: Google, to this link http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=74005 & then to this one that says something like runoncemsn & loads of numbers..

Is this a Hijacker & whats the best free app to get rid of it>

Thanks for any help i recieve.

Sorry, just noticed this is in the wrong section..

stop using ie7. it is a piece of crap. you should use Firefox. it is much safer and an all around better web browser.

then after it is installed you can grab the add on adblock plus. this will stop almost all ads and you are an instant winner flashing things on the side of the page.
