The card won't convert it - you need to be able to capture to AVI/MPEG and then author a DVD.

Hauppauge are quite good - S Video in and Audio In - and then capture using something like VideoWave 5 and then use VideoWave 5 to create your Menu and DVD.

i have a canopus mvr-1000 that lets you capture in realtime mpeg 2, via a s video and composite its a top capture card
