i'm having some problems with reoccuring pop ups. I've ran AVG, Adaware, and Trendmicros housecall and haven't had any luck maybe this hijack this log can reveal something if one of you could look at it for me. Thanks ahead of time.

if it helps any some of the popups mention "smacchat" in the url..others are just usually irrelevent to that specific name.

rename the hjt icon on your desktop to something like scan.exe
then rescan and post a new hjt log. dont see a anti-malware app in the log. need both a AV, which you have and a antimalware app.
i suggest one of these:
superantispyware
spy bot search and destroy
AVG anti-spyware
lavasoft's ad aware

actually i do have lavasofts adaware, search and destroy, spyware blaster, AVG anit-virus, and zonealarm...thats why i'm confused as to why i'm still getting pop ups...plus it seems like everytime i close a webpage window when its fullscreen it messes up my wallpaper backround and active desktop recovery comes up.

looks like vundo:
download and run vundofix.exe:
http://www.atribune.org/ccount/click.php?id=4
* Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
* Click the Scan for Vundo button.
* Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
* You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
* Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
* When completed, it will prompt that it will reboot your computer, click OK.
* Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt and a new HiJackThis log.
Note: It is possible that VundoFix encountered a file it could not remove.
In this case, VundoFix will run on reboot, simply follow the above instructions starting from "Click the Scan for Vundo button." when VundoFix appears at reboot.

the top part of your combofix log is missing, cant see if it deleted anything.
did you get that vundofix from the Atribune.org website?? the latest version is 6.6.2
delete your copy which is 6.5.0 and download and run it again and post the log.

* Click the Scan for Vundo button.
* Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
* You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
* Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
* When completed, it will prompt that it will reboot your computer, click OK.
* Please post the contents of C:\vundofix.txt and a new HiJackThis log.
Note: It is possible that VundoFix encountered a file it could not remove.
In this case, VundoFix will run on reboot, simply follow the above instructions starting from "Click the Scan for Vundo button." when VundoFix appears at reboot.

Ran Vundo Fix didn't pick anything up..Before hand though AVG picked up Ofustate.VTX (also have seen it with .VUL at the end) and it says "Virus Found Lop"....haven't really been able to find alot of info on those and i've also heard thats something AVG does is pick up "no name" viruses or rather "fake" Viruses.

copy paste these one by one;

then click on "add files" and "close window"
back at the main window click on "remove vundo"
vundo will reboot your computer. post the new vundo log.

Alright did what you said it couldn't delete one of the files though and i'm still receiving popups randomly. (the wierd thing is though its only when i link to another site or go to another site otherwise if i'm doing anything else it doesn't happen which its been like this the whole time nothing new.) heres the vundofix log and i'll put up another HJT log too just to keep you up to date.

Copy the contents of the code box below and paste it into a blank notepad only (not a word processor) --start>programs>accessories>notepad. under format make sure word wrap is not checked.

what next? did you mean left click and drag it on there or right click and drag it on there which when i do that a small window pops up asking "open with" or "Cancel"

right click holding down the mouse button, drag the txt file on to the combofix icon and release.
if you get a msg about combofix being expired, cant do anything about that. the coder hasnt updated combofix yet.

doing just as you specified i get a little box asking (open with) or (cancel) otherwise nothing else happens.
If i left click drag onto it with the mouse it asks me if i want to run combofix.

Not sure if that has to do with how old it may be or not..the create date is july 10th of this year (not to old) but, maybe thats why nothings happening...... Still hasn't said anything about combofix being to old of a version though and i've read that on several other sites stating the same thing that you did....hmm i wonder why.

a new version of combofix is ready.
you can delete your old version like this:
go to start>run and type in combofix /u
hit the space bar after typing the x and before the /
---------------------
then get and run the updated version of combofix and post the new log:

Seems like everythings working pretty good again, pop ups have stopped although coincedentaly i'm having problems with my pc just shutting off randomly...seems to be linked to when i'm using alot of processes or using "heavy pc usage" processes..this may be a hardware issue such as my powersupply or whatever i'll check it out.
I guess i'll just run a few other scans for any remaining viruses maybe pick up panda virus scan i've heard alot of good things about it and have been recommended it a few times.
I appreciate your help echo many thanks and i'll post up one last HJT log just to make sure you don't see anything else between that and the previously posted combo fix log.
Well nvm on that HJT log...won't work for some reason keeps freezing up..really having some power problems i'll have to buy an new power supply or something...
