yes, so long as the tv has a suitable audio output. It is likely your pc speakers will run off a 3.5mm jack. If you plug this into the headphone socket on your tv it will most likely cut out the tv speakers, but if thats what you are after then thats fine.

pc speakers are worse so i wouldn't use them unless i had no other choice

same question was asked and answered in this forum

-any more questions (i'll answer anything specific) just ask

well my tv is a bit old so it doesn't have a suitable audio output. and i would be trying to eliminate the tv speakers and just use pc speakers...in my opinion they would sound better..not crackly.

If there is a headphone jack on the t.v you can just plug them into there.

If you have a 5.1 surround sound speakers then you should of received or can purchase an adapter to convert them into red & white RCA jacks. Then you can purchase a RCA to 3.5 mm Jack that turns it into one jack that goes into the headphone jack. (or just use the RCA jacks into the t.v if you wished)

Thats my current setup actually ^

An RCA jack, also referred to as a phono connector or CINCH/AV connector-They are often color coded, yellow for composite video, red for the right channel and white or black for the left channel of stereo audio
SO your simply looking for a RCA-to-1/8" Y cable (found at RadioShack)

sorry i guess i didn't understand
if your speakers only have a male connection- http://www.radioshack.com/sm-gold-series...pi-2103710.html

if your speakers only have a female connection- http://www.radioshack.com/sm-monster-int...pi-2110498.html

if your speakers have both then its easier to go male
it's cheaper to go male too
