Beware, they may be Cmags. The last spindle of Maxell I bought was.

Office Depot will have their house brand on sale friday, $18 per 100 pk.

I'm gonna jump on them.

All the Maxell +16x spindles I have used,have coded as Cmags. They're in a tapered spindle.

Look at the last letters in the product code to avoid Cmags. CMC = Cmag, MDM = Ritek, PT is Prodisc & I'm not sure what the RT code is.

Good info bratcher, thanks for the heads up. I typically only buy Verbatim, but just picked these up for my father and he couldn't use them (damn Cmags) so I took them for myself and haven't had any problems with them.
