DvD Backup Begins on Chapter 2

I use dvd shrink then nero recode all seems to be fine then when I place dvd in player it starts on chapter 2 and I have to rewind to the beginning of the movie? Anyone have any ideas

I believe it 6. something i erased smart start and have not installed remainder of nero..

Ok the new Nero 8 has a problem autoburning w/ Shrink - does what you posted - plays funky.
Nero 6 doesn't have this problem.
Do a clean install of Nero. Uninstall w/ the clean tool then reinstall Nero. Nero 6 - just need package 1 and 2. Clean Tool

You can try the update 1st - the latest is 6.6.1.15 though.
But since you're having problems I would do a clean install instead.
Oh and just edit your previous post instead of back to back posts :)

Ok here's a couple of suggestions:
Direct burning: true
Turn off burn at once.
Disc Manufacturer: CMC MA - G. AE1
Not the best. Better to use would be Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden or made in Japan Sony, Fuji or Maxell.
File 'Drivers\CDRALW2K.SYS':
Roxio and Nero don't always play well. So you can uninstall Roxio and run the Zap Tool
Oh and I edited your serial # out of the post.
