sometimes my nero 8 vision wont burn a movie

Hello first post for me on this forum.
I have noticed that some of my movies i d/l from bittorrent specifically avi files will not burn via my nero 8.
I start up nero vision ver 5
Make DVD
DVD video
add video files........
then as soon as i try to add some avi format movie, the next screen opens for about a sec like normal, but then the whole program just closes.

So basically i asking why some will work but some won't,i can't tell the difference between one that will or wont when i watch them on my computor.They seem identical to me.

Welcome to Afterdawn!

Here's a suggestion -try doing a clean install of Nero and install the latest version. Uninstall Nero using the clean tool then install 8.1.1.4.

If it's still a no go then try using this free one - DVD Flick.

Glad DVDFlick did the trick.

So far Vision has been fine on my end w/ Nero 8. But the problem w/ shrink still isn't fixed even with the latest up date. Very doubtful it will be.
