Hey guys, my mate got an Advent 8315 laptop with Vista Premium. Now it was working before but when he boots up he gets this error message,

BOOTMGR is missing. Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart

The manual says to press f8 to recover on startup, but nothing happens. Only f2 and f12 will do BIOS settings.

I gather a vista dvd will work, trouble is he did not get a vista dvd with his Laptop!!!!!!

What can i do?
