Is there any program that can convert a WMV movie to AVI? Actually, I have some WMV files and I want to convert it into AVI files for some website development purpose. If you know any good program then please suggest me.

'Any Video Converter' (the free version).

For .MKV select 'All File Types' from dropdown menu.
'Output profile' 'AVI'.
For video size, 720x576; Audio MP3 (or original).
Select a Video BitRate (higher value, more quality - bigger file size).

Also 'Super©' converts MKV, drag file onto window, choose output container and a codec (DivX).
