my coumputer is not reconizing my pionner A06 as a dvd writter..

I just bought a pioneer A06 yesterday and installed it,but I have a problem with the computer reconizing the pioneer A06 as a CD-ROM & DVD ROM drive (i went to my computer and right click on the drive )..I also have a pioneer A04(i did the same thing went to MY COMPUTER and right click)it says Type: DVD-RW recordable disc..
And i can not use the pioneer A06 as a recorder ,only reader..But i can use the pioneer A04 for both reader and recorder...
If you think you know what is wrong with my burner,please help me out...

Pull the A04 and set the A06 as master by itself and see if it shows up properly/burns.

Do what MysticE correctly said, but if it doesn't work correctly, make sure you have the latest ASPI drivers installed and that Win/Linux has the correct driver files installed properly.
