Azureus P2P how to get one file instead of the whole 9 yards

As I am opening a torrent in Azureus for a 2.72GB double-DVD, I see a checklist of the many video episodes of that TV series. I uncheck all but one, say, episode 1. I get it started but after an hour or so, I see it has ignored my checkmark and it is in the process of downloading the entire list of files rather than the one episode I checked. Anyone know how to make Azureus follow my checkmark list rather than using the entire list?
