can all burners burn at 4x?
cause i'm about to buy a 18x burner but i want to make sure of this first.

If it's an 18X burner like you said, then the answer is YES. I'm assuming this is a quad-burner which can support four different burn rates, 4X being one of them.

I wouldn't really recommend burning that slow though...burning too slow can sometimes be just as bad as burning too fast. If you use a quality drive with current firmware coupled with quality media you should be able to burn comfortably at 8X-12X easily.
