dBPowerAMP DSP Equalizer Incorrect

I tried using the dBPowerAMP DSP Equalizer when ripping CD and found that the DSP Equalizer is working correctly. For example, push up the treble tone slider (say the 12K, 16K ones) do not result in increased treble in the ripped MP3 file. To confirm with the my ear's perception, I created a white noise wav file (20-20000Hz flat) and covert to MP3 with the dBPowerAMP with the same DSP Equalizer setting. The resulting spectrum was observed on GoldWave sound editor and that confirm my perception. The DSP Equalizer is not working correctly. Could anyone have experience or interest in trying the DSP Equalizer share. I may be wrong. Or dBPowerAMP will queue it for a fix.
