Help - DVD to Flash Drive ??

Hey guys. First, thanks again for all the help I have received here over the years. You guys have always been amazing.

The question/issue I have now is I am trying to figure out how to put a DVD movie on a flash drive. I spend a considerable amount of time sitting in a vehicle. The vehicle has a computer, but no DVD or CD player. It does have USB ports however, and I was wanting to use a flash drive to watch movies now and then. I also thought about adding an external DVD player via the usb ports, but I dont have administrative access, and Im not sure I would be able to install it once I hooked it up. I have no problem backing up DVD's, but I am stumped on this one. Any help or other ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

If you rip the DVD to a Folder on the flash drive (or rip it to a folder on the system hard drive and shrink it, then drag it to the flash drive) can you not play it with your media player?

You also may have to re-format the flash drive. Depending on the format the maximum file size may be limited: FAT - 2GB, FAT32 - 4GB, NTFS - Unlimited.
