Help !! My Nero 7 premium (make your own dvd) preview sceen is choppy

okay i have the latest version of Nero 7 Premium, and when ever i decide to burn a dvd (make your own dvd) it goes to the content screen where u usally drag whichever movie u want to burn in....

okay, well heres the problem after the video is in.....i decide to preview the movie before burning it......and the movie shows choppy

i tried all my movies and all of them work perfectly fine when watching it in regular players such as window media player and etc, but when ever i put it in nero to get ready to burn ....the preview screen shows the video choppy, and even if i continue and decide to burn anyway........the movies burns but it comes out all choppy on my dvd player



Mind you, i updated to 8 and its the same thing.....and i know that there has to be a reason for why its doing this, because when i was using nero before, everything worked perfectly, but i just recently formatted my computer and had to re-install everything again, and get a new copy of nero..........

is there some type of special plug in i need or something
