How do you play your ripped DVDs?

Hi, I'm trying to come up with an easy way for my Wife and kids to be able to play back a collection of home moviews without having to go to the DVD case and search for DVDs etc.

Is there a program to use where it will be easy to add the DVD photo and title and all they have to do is clikc play?

I usually rip the entire DVD either as ISO or VOB files, but when using windows meadi player, you have to point to the video-ts folder to be able to play the files and you have to mount the ISO image to be able to play it that way. This is fine for me but for kids, it is a bit rought.

I have windows xp2 and not MCE.

Any recommendations?

VLC can play ISO files without mounting. If you can write simple scripts, Ant Movie Catalog has a scripting language and you probably could add a button to play a vid.
