god of war 2 won't play on my playstation 2

The god of war 2 will not play on my playstation 2. it says disc can not read. Please help.

If its the original game. take it back
If its a back-up i think your stuffed.
It will be a dual layer game to start with.
Do a search on god of war 2.
I don't think there is much success getting back-ups of this series to work.

There has been a lot of success getting these to play, trust me. Juts search here on afterdawn if it is a backup and you can find several different ways people used to get this and the first god of war to work, both with and without using DL discs.
