Correct, you should look into your burning program. ImgBurn, Nero, and others can be set to booktype. Experiment and see if it works! My BenQ's and Lite-On have their own software to set it. Does your Sony?

I just don't think that any software will force a burner that is not capable of bitsetting, to do so. I could be wrong.

Thats correct too and why I said experiment, and also gave a link to the firmware page that might have updates. There are updates to flash some burners to -ROM even if they werent originally intended to.

Cdfreaks has been mentioned a multitude of times, in the AD forums. There is no problems with mentioning them, as far as I know.

I'm sure you are right, I guess the way I worded that was to give respect to those at AD without browning my nose. I guess it didnt work since I said it out loud now...
