I was wondering if someone could help me... I have kind of a stupid question... My cousin was trying to tel me that the US has a special code like system for its discs that are say in california and another for missouri etc.. so if you try to copy a disc from tis area you won't beable to do it with out certian equipment ...?? I don't think he is right but thought I would ask.

The reason he says this is because he came to visit and I live in a diffrent section of the US than him andhe couldn't back up a copy of a movie I had. He kept getting an error when he tried. A CRC error in shrink and then tried rip, fix, dvd decrypter, shrink and nro and got an error doing it this way also. I have cleaned the disk etc.

For commercial DVD's, North America is Region 1 - meaning the DVD could not be played in Australia on a Region 4 DVD player.
There are no sub codes within regions.

Note:there is no region coding on a DVD that has been ripped and burned.

An updated ripper/decrypter is 'DVDFab HD Decrypter'

Insert disk, run program select 'Main Movie' or 'Full Disk'
