im a noob to this whole backing up stuff so pls bare with me.

now before i ask about the backing up i wanna make sure i have what i need to even boot the burnt copies.

i have a slim ps2 that i modded to play with the door open.
i have a gameshark2 version 1.3 i think.
plenty of dvd-rs and cd-rs

now i heard that you can swap games in the GS menu. but when i do this it just freezes and the disc stops spinning.

Am i doing this right? can it be done the way im doing it? if so what am i doin wrong.

i do not have a momory card
i do not have the usb flash pen device ( it didnt come bunndled with it)

do i need them?

pls anyone pls help me
