any dl on sale anywhere ?

Best Buy has Verbatim DVD+Rs & DVD-Rs on sale for $12.99 for a 50 pack. And TDK DL 8X 25-pack for $27.99. What's the scoop on the TDK DLs? Are they worth it?

I haven't come across any MIJ Sony 16X dvd +Rs yet. I bought all I could find of the Sony 8X MIJ which are TYs. Still have over 300 of those left. I have switched over to buying Verbs and some office depot brand (Ricohjpn or ritek) discs.

The Sony 16x made in Taiwan are Top Notch Media, right up there with Verbatim. Have yet to see any MIJ 16x. I am sure they are sold somewhere, probably in the UK! Creaky would know this.

The last we heard from DocTY on Sony made TYs, was that TY only made the 8X variety for Sony with the white octagonal spacer. Not the 16X discs. I hope that is incorrect but like I said I've yet to see a Sony X16 MIJ.

That's known that there are Taiyo Yuden 16x DVD-Rs around, I have some in Sony. (White Octagonal Spacer and all)Let's see you find Taiyo Yuden DVD+R MIJs in the 16x speed here in the USA. You're really good if you can!

On sale this week?
I hit Office Depot for some 25 pks of their Dvd+rw media. $10 per 25 pack and they coded as Ritek:
