Aspect ratio problems with DVD2SVCD

when i transcode a divx/xvid into svcd using dvd2svcd, although the original file is 4:3 format, the result I get is 16:9.What am I doing wrong? I use DVD2SVCD 1.0.9 (new version stops at 66% so I had to go to an older one)with CCE. THe only problem I'm having is this aspect ratio thing. 4:3 divx's end up as 16:9. Are there any settings to change that???
