Since updating azureus to the new version, I have problems with my connection.
Before I start azureus, everything is working. When I start azureus most of my connections drop.
Azureus downloads fine at full speed and I can ping google.com and other websites/ip addresses and get 100% response. The only webpage I can get onto is my router webpage. All the other external websites gets stuck on "waiting for [website name]" according to Firefox and it does the same in IE. I have not changed any settings post upgrade.
No other computer on the network is affect.
When I close azureus I still cannot connect to anything. I made sure the azureus thread in task manager is closed. I tried using windows repair and diagnostics, restart, disable and enable the NIC but still have the same problem. I tried logging off and logging back on and it still cannot connect to anything except pinging and azureus. I have to restart the computer for it go back to normal until I start azureus and the problem comes back.
I have tried reducing the number of connections as stated in the azureus wiki and disabling uPnP but this doesn't change anything.
Same problem here!!!!
But I´m a mac user, so it´s an upgrade problem.
any progress on it???
This is what happened to me:
I had the automatic upgrade thingie on, so when I came to the computer it had already started, stopped the downloads, and the upgrading took forever (and I mean hours).
so I quit everything, and restarted the computer, but no progress, and tried this a couple more times. I even threw out the 3.0.3.4 version, downloaded the 3.0.4.0, but same old story, no downloads (well one, but only until 3.2kbs, and then it slows down until it stops) and all active downloads report a connection error. Plus, I too have problems with the rest of internet connection, my firefox behaves as if I where beating it to death.
damn blue frog!!! when will you come back to us???
yeah i had the same problem using windows xp, although mine was worse. i could not even connect to the internet at all and could not connect through to my router although the connection status was good. i tried alot to fix it but in the end i had restarted my router and thankfully it worked, although quite frustrating. Either ways i am switching to utorrent since azeurues runs slow on my vista x64 for some reason,P.S. also after i fixed the upgrade i had a lot of queving and had to wait to download more than 2 torrent which never happened befor and i know my tracker was not at fault.

That just sounds like your router was overloaded from the number of connections and/or the dns requests. It usually happens in consumer grade routers some worse than others.
