Anyone know of any guides for burning .ogm files to dvd-r so I can play them on my dvd player??

If it is in the MPEG format, you can convert it to DVD using the MainConcept MPEG Encoder.
Once it has been converted, use TMPGEnc DVD Author to make the DVD files, burn the resulting files using Nero or other.
