I backed up some of my games by burning the isos to DVD+Rs, they worked perfectly. Now I want to burn a second set, but I already deleted the files on my computer, so would I be able to rip the files from my pre-existing backups and re-burn them to a new dvd?

Also, the original backups were DVD+Rs but I only have DVD-Rs left. Any information would be appreciated

Yes you can copy the back-ups.
Use DVD decrypter in iso read mode to get the iso on your pC HDD. Then use DVD Decrypter in iso write mode to burn the iso to a new disk.
However, you mention DVD-R's.
You should check if your PS2 likes the DVD-R disks you have before you go burning away.
Do one first then try it in the PS2 to be sure.

Usually -R is best for fat PS2s and +R is better for slims.
