I know this game is old, but I was hoping one of you have a solution.
I recently downloaded Devil May Cry (1) [file name is DEVIL_MAY_CRY.ISO]
I tried burning it with DVD Decrypter at 1x speed. I tried loading it with Swap Magic 3.6, and when it loads up, the screen is all flickery/messed up. And when I get past the "Capcom" screen, it freezes. But when I changed it to NTSC mode in Swap Magic, it loads up all flickery, but I can get past the Capcom screen and play normally, I just can't see the dang thing clearly. When I put it in PAL format, it's all clear but I can't get past the "this game contains....."
Solutions?
Ok so I am assuming it is a PAL game since it is clear when in PAL mode. I had this problem as well, simple fix is to keep pressing start until you get to the main screen. Skiping the 'this game contains' and intro.
Well theres a few reasons why it might not work. The type of media you are using might have something to do with it. Try using either Sony, Verbatims, Taiyo Yudens, TDKs or Maxwells. Also you should never burn at 1x because its too slow. If you have 16x burn at 8x. If you have 8x burn at 4x. If you have 4x throw them away since they stop working after a week.
