Ok I have an interesting question. I know normalizing is for when all the tracks you are going to burn on CD are not the same volume. What if I burn an ALBUM and normalize all the tracks. Will that effect the quality of the CD? The reason I am asking this is because I burned a CD (normalized) and I re-riped it with EAC "Extreme" preset using Lame 3.97 and I wasn't satisfied with the volume compared to all the other albums I have on my computer. They are a tad bit louder. Believe me I have good ears... I do beats lol Oh yeah... this CD I re-ripped is a CD from 2000... and most of the albums I have on my computer are from today which means higher compression (in the mix itself; production wise). Can that be the case?
