im having the same problem, i used autopopstation4 and it worked fine, but when i go to play it just gives me a black screen.
im also on 3.71m33-3, the guide i read on here said to copy the results folder into /psp/game.

firmware: 2.71 -> 1.5 -> 3.52m33 -> 3.52m33-4 -> 3.71m33 -> 3.71m33-2 -> 3.71m33-3+ addon 1.5v2.

I am using 3.71 m33-4 was using 3.71 m33-3
What i did was install irshell the new one something 81 and went to the program list and booted up the games. it worked for one of them but i used another game and it worked all the way to the point where it was loading the mission after the briefing. But i would like to get it to work from the main xmb not an shell.
Found a TUT didnt work for me maybe you it will
try out icetea 1.3 to convert iso,bin to eboot or extract an eboot.
or PopStation GUI2
or PSX2PSP needs some extra file
i perfer icetea works with vista. but you need popstation GUI2 to get the keys file from the popstationguiv1\files\KEYS.BIN

How to run PSX games on the PSP.
Things Needed:

A PSP with custom firmware

Clone CD:
http://static.slysoft.com/SetupCloneCD.exe

Zinga Burga's Popstation
http://zinga.quotaless.com/PsGUI/PsGUI300beta.rar

Disc of a PSX game you want to rip for the PSP

1. Put the PSX CD in the computer CD Drive
2. Run Clone which you downloaded above
3. Click on the video game option
4. Name the extraction, possibly the name of the game your ripping. Then select the destination folder.
5. Hit 'Start/go/proceed...(i cant remeber right now)... Your game is now dumping to your hard drive. Depending on how big the game is, that's how long it will take.
6. After it's done go to the destination folder

7. Now you need to make a EBOOT.pbp so it can be read by the PSP
8. Open up Zinga's popstation which you downloaded above.
9. Click on Browse.
10. Find The IMG file it came with when you ripped it.
11. Chose your output folder.
12. Then select your game that you ripped where it says 'Select...'
13. Click Go.
14. It's now converting your game into a eboot.pbp.
15. After thats done look in your output folder you selected. You should have an EBOOT.PBP and KEYS.BIN files
16. Place these in X:\PSP\GAME\(create a folder for your Game) (X is the letter of your PSP drive)
17. Run your game from GAME --> Memory Stick
18. Enjoy!

This quick tutoril from from memory so please forgive me if there are mistakes anywhere. I'll have the full guide with photos as soon as possibe. :)

3. make sure u put i in the riht place PSP/GAME - NOT GAME 150 OR W.E JUS GAME
4. make sure its in a folder with the right name
e.g. crash bandicoot converted to EBOOT.PBP, place tat in a folder names CRASH BANDICOOT and make sure u have the KEYS FILE IN THE FOLDERAS WELL. if it still dnt work then i dnt no lol

which plugin are you using.

keys?, i dont see any keys, when autopopstation4 did it made a folder called results, inside that was the armored core 1 folder, in that is a eboot file and a file called documents.

firmware: 2.71 -> 1.5 -> 3.52m33 -> 3.52m33-4 -> 3.71m33 -> 3.71m33-2 -> 3.71m33-3+ addon 1.5v2.

hmmm, i finely got it to work sort of, it seems this is not compatable with cwcheat.

when i did get to it, it came up with a black screen, then had 3.01 pops and several more, i picked 3.72 figuring its close to 3.71.m33-4 which is what i am on, then it just froze, and wouldnt load.

firmware: 2.71 -> 1.5 -> 3.52m33 -> 3.52m33-4 -> 3.71m33 -> 3.71m33-2 -> 3.71m33-3+ addon 1.5v2.
