Logitech USB Mic compatible with Singstar?

I'm just wondering if my Logitech USB Microphone for the PS2 is compatible with SingStar? It came with the 'Australian Idol' game. On the game cover is says "Not compatible with SingStar microphones", but thats nothing to say the Logitech mic isn't.

I think it's compatible with some games like Karaoke Revolution and Rockband, but they're not available in Australia.

Any ideas? Cheers

I have both Singstar Rocks and Singstar 80's. I bought a Logitech microphone in Best Buy and it will not work. The game says it cannot find the Singstar USB adapter.
