What games do you play? $2000 is alot, you could build a demon of a machine, but if you play computer chess, then there is no need, lol.
As for the movies and DVDs, I think a blueray or HD DVD player would be good. But honestly what games, they really decide your build.
any Asus MB: 680I socket 775
Intel Quadcore 2.4GHz, 8MB Cache, 1066FSB
4GB of OCZ reversion 2, 800MHz, 4-4-4-15 i think is its latency.
2 EVGA 8800GT 512mb graphics cards in SLI
Thermaltake/cosair/ultra powersupply: minimum 650Watts
Any case Mid tower case that is to your likeing: I like the antec witht he 2 120mm fans and the 200mm fan on top.
GET a SAMSUNG 226BW 22" LCD monitor
2 Westerndigital HDDs pending on movies 500GB each in Raid 1, for fault torlerance
Blueray or HDDVD drive?? your in Europe I persume...so idk
and some extra fans, to install in your case.

If you are thinking of a good media PC, you should look at things like RAM and Processing capability, and a Good monitor. AS you don't play Games a lot, you don't need a lot of RAM on your Graphics Card.
Here are my recommended spec:
Processor: Any Dual-Core
Graphics Card: Nvidia 8600GT
RAM: 2GB
HD: 400-500GB @ 7200rpm (as u would watch a lot of movies)
Motherboard:Don't think of any high end motherboard as u can only see their true potential if you are going to play games or 3D modeling. Try finding a liquid cooling motherboard as they are a onetime investment on cooling. I personally regret not going for one myself. Last of all, look for a good Sound card on your motherboard, as you would need good sound to enjoy movies.
Monitor: A LCD would be the best option.

Of cause the speakers, monitors and keyboard etc as well but then I will choose those to my preference.
Total = 827.05 without the monitor etc.
Would all these parts fit together nicely to form a complete pc?
Is this value for money or can I improve it alot with other cheaper parts?
Also regarding the internal hard drive, would it be possible to fit in two of those, so to have 2 internal hard drives?
Thanks

You already posted another thread on this...
But anyways, I have never heard of Sparkle Epsilon power supplies. A PSU is something you should NEVER cheat on, it's the most important component in the whole pc. If you get a cheap PSU, then there is a great chance that it will fail and take other parts with it. (Has happened to me before)
And a 8400? I guess thats ok for what you want to do with you pc, but do even think of playing games with it. It is a very slow card.

Well a 700watt is overkill for a pc like that.
A Corsair 500watt would be best. Anything by Corsair, Antec, OCZ, and Galaxy make excellent PSUs.
