hello all i have a few questions about the new blu ray format -

1, will a sony playstation 3 play a blu ray backup ?

2 to make a blu ray back up is this what i need -

1: Yes as long as you burn a UDF 2.5 Compliant Disk

Burner: Yes, However the BR writer your looking at will only burn single layer disks. Get a drive that can do dual layer as most movies are above 25GB. Example LG GGW-H20L

Blank Media: Yes, However you'll find for most movies you'll need dual layer.

Burning Program: Yes Nero 8 will do it.

Protection Removal: Yes.
