problem with backing up nfs pro street and shadow of the colossus

hi this is my first post so if im doin something wrong let me know lol. ok i burned nfs pro street and the shadow of colossus using the dvd decrypter iso read/write method. when i get to a few sections of the disc it wont load. like a few tracks on nfs wont load. also on shadow of the colossus, i try to load my savegame to continue where i left off and it wont load (the game not the savegame). i use swap magic 3.6 on my scph3001 ps2. im using sony dvd+r 16x (id code d21). im burning it with tsstcorp TS-L532R burner. so far 1 out of 4 games i back up wont work entirely. ive also tried backing up nfspro street again but with the same results. the games burn at 1.2x-4x no matter what speed i select to write with. does any1 know what the problem is?

Not exactly sure but if you are backing up your games via you have the original, then it may be that your disc was scratched and when it read the game it wrote the scratches. This sometimes will mess it up. If your burning the game from someone or someplace else like a download from a torrent then that maybe your problem. I have tried burning alot of downloaded games and I'd say only a 1/4 or 1/3 of them work. But I did get NFS to work and the game is pretty cool.

thats wierd cuz i copied nfs as soon as i bought it. not a single scratch on the disc. also shadow of the colossus had zero read retries. ive also been able to copy an old scratched disc that doesnt work on my ps2 and burn it, and it will work flawlessly. theres gotta be a reason why these games arent working. also add mortal combat armageddon to the list as well.
