i just got a dvd+r of a concert that was filmed in 1973 , i am assuming that at one point this footage was transfer to a dvd+r at one point . i got a copy from a friend and he also got one from anotehr with the same problem , the video playback is fine no problem , but the audio has a small stactic sound , almost sounds like a speaker that is going bad . i have seen 3 differnt copys of this and they all do it . i don't know who made this originally . but i was hoping there is a way to clean the audio up and make it listenable . is there a software to repair sound on a burned dvd . thanks
I have an audio tape of a relative that I am trying to copy. Unfortunately, the tape has a lot of static. If I record this to a digital format, load it to my hard drive and then use one of the softwares mentioned above (I was looking at Audacity) should I be able to edit out the static & equalize the sound? This aunt is now deceased & I would really love to be able to duplicate this tape.
