Tried ripping stardust using dvdfab with anydvd 6.3.02 running in the back and the first stage of ripping gets to about 25% and then won't rip past that point. Anyone else having this problem. I also tried using dvd shrink but it also gets to about the same point before an error comes up. Any ideas as to how to get around this?

DVDFab and AnyDVD conflict. Use one or the other. If you use DVDFab, disable AnyDVD.

I usually run both and everything works ok. Is dvdfab able to remove protection?

You may have a bad disc. Try exchanging for another.

I was going to reply that very thought. After watching it today there was a freeze about midway thru the DVD which is about how much i could rip before it failed. So i will try another dvd if not it would be the first DVD i failed to rip via Fab........I will reply with my results..........

DVDFAB works all by itself (no need for ANYDVD )

Anydvd works best with Clondvd2 ( I use Anydvd with the old DVD Decrypter 3.5.4.0, not 2b confused with dvdfab decrypter or HD version)

SUGGESTION:
Read carefully the first reply

You cannot use both, you should not use both at the same time, unless you like defeat. Both decrypters at the same time will step on each other's toes.
One, or the other.
