Hi guys

Latly my pc speakers have been making a strange clicking noise which is echoey, at 1st i thought i was the speakers so i changed them and the same happned, ive noticed when the noise happens there are lines across my moniter, is this interference or is there summat wtong with my pc, i have moved all elecronic things away it still happens, if anybody knows what might be causing this your comments will be helpfull thanks

I'm going to assume it's a CRT monitor you're using, as LCDs shouldn't be vulnerable to such interference. If it's an LCD, it may be a fault with the monitor itself causing the problem.

Hmm, it sounds like it could potentially be a problem with the monitor then. Are there any others you can try and see if the problem still occurs?

I dont know why but it seemed to have stopped all by its self mmm scratching my head on this one thanks for your replys anyway

Where is the noise comming from, out of the speakers or from within the PC case?
Does the noise go away if the speakers are disconnected?
Does your PC have a Video card, or integrated motherboard video?
What brand and model PC? How old?
What brand and model monitor? How old?
What OS, WinXP or Vista?
