Im using 3.71M33-4.

Games load from stick just fine, but when I save it says the files are corrupted, Load Failed 801XXXXX,etc.

I do not use a Loader atm. All of the games I play are loaded from the X:/ISO directory.

Im VERY new to this scene and Ive downgraded, Pandora'd and Upgraded my PSP w/ no questions so far. Ive utilized my search skills on this problem and still cant come up w/ a solution.

Thanks in advance for the help! :D

It could very well be your memory stick-Fake memory sticks are notorious for that...I had a 2GB once that did the same thing-It would only hold about half of the capacity, and the gamesaves were just 'corrupted data' icons..

Check your memory stick by going to one of the memory stick icons in the psp menu(XMB) under MUSIC, VIDEO, or GAME-press triangle to get the 'information' sidebar, press X to show the information for the memory stick...It will show you the memory stick capacity, free space, and whether or not its MagicGate supported...If yours says "Unknown" or "Unsupported", or is just blank after MagicGate:, then its pretty safe to say you have a fake memory stick..If you got it from eBay, then its almost certain that its fake(about 90% are fake on eBay)-

However, if your shows as "Supported", then you may have a hardware issue with your psp-

A couple of things to try in the meantime-
-Format your memory stick using the utility in the psp's system settings menu (Be sure to backup any data you do not wish to lose)-By doing this, you create the proper folder directory for your memory stick

-While in that same system settings menu, use the "restore default settings" option to reset your psp (dont worry, you wont lose your custom firmware or the kernel patch)-it just bascially resets the settings to default when you do that. You will have to re-enter your wireless network info, and your nickname, otherwise everything else remains untouched...

Glad to hear you got your issue resolved-

Did you end up going with the sandisk? I think those are the best as far as data transfer and all around quality-better than the Sony ones even...

sony and sandisk they both have good memory sticks, important is that you buy a real memory stick ,don't buy from ebay or amazon ,buy from a "normal" store

i just bought a real sony 4gb memory stick for 50 euros with 5 year warranty
i made the mistake of buying one memory stick from ebay, i won't make the same mistake again
