Is it possible to merge a 3 CD PSX game onto 1 DVD?

I want to back up my copy of FFVII onto 1 DVD instead of 3 CD's, is that possible? I assumed you would need to merge the ISO's or create a break or something. If this is possible then could someone link me to a tutorial? If not then don't worry about it.
