Swap Magic Help Needed!!!

Hey everyone, just received swap magic 3.6 today, and i am having some problems with it. I'm from the UK, but when in USA earlier this month i purchased a few games which aren't available here. So, I put the swap magic dvd in...use the slider to open the drive, insert the ps2 game...then when i click "load program" it doesn't do much. I can hear some noises coming from the ps2, then eventually it says "not a valid ps2 disc"? I'm just confused as its not even a copy!! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Are you saying that if you put in the USA games without swap magic, it won't load because of region specific?
