What program(s) are available that will rip Blu-ray disks to hard drive? I just bought an LG drive that reads both HD and Bluray. DVDFab HD Decrypter 4 works fine for HD-DVD discs (I ripped one movie and can play back the individual .EVO files off the hard drive no problem), but with Blu-ray discs it just kays "Please insert DVD or choose DVD folder" but does nothign when you select the STREAM folder on the Bluray disc.
Any good one-step programs for ripping Blu-ray discs?

Uninstall AnyDVD and download CCleaner. Scan the registry and select "fix selected issues." Install AnyDVD again and you should have another 21 day trial. If you like AnyDVD, make sure you buy it, just like I did.

You don't "get" another 21 days. If you liked it buy it. Otherwise you're stealing it.

@Chavo
Doesn't work - AnyDVD has come along way since that little trick worked.
Plus let's not post ways to beat the system - piraacy - and not allowed here.

Once you got AnyDVD-HD up and running, right the tray icon and select "Rip DVD to Hard Disk", easy!

I also have just started ripping to the HDD on a Sony Media Center PC, and I get only parts of the movie and nararration from the director in parts. I tried No Country for Old Men and Juno. I have been looking everywhere for a solution, but have been unable to figure out why. Can Anyone Help?

It's giving you narration because it defaulted to the first english AC3 track, which is probably a director's commentary. The main movie audio is probably DTS-HD, etc.

I have and LG BluRay drive (reader, not writer) and AnyDvd HD. When I try to rip the disk to the HD, I get a message that says - Drive not ready. I haven't installed any of the LG-supplied SW yet, as I'm concerned about conflicts with my current burning SW, but I have verified that this drive is recognized by XP and can read files from a standard DVD.
Do I need any special drivers/SW to read BD files?
Thanks...

The best way I have found which works awesome is use 3 apps. ANYDVD, Slysofts Virtual Drive (Freeware) and PowerDvd Ultra 8. All you have to do is right click the AnyDvd Icon on the taskbar and then click rip to image and it will rip it as an ISO. After your done using the Viritual Drive you can mount it and Power Dvd will Detect it. Its easy and quick and Ive had 0 problems im not even using the full version of AnyDvd the 21 day Trial will let you rip blurays.

Yes this works, but you are left with a upto 48gb file.
Is there a program that will remove main blu-Ray movie only?

I always find it humorous...
So making DVD copies is not beating the system? ;-)

Hi
Thank you I will give it a go.
As to post of beating the system, no I just want to copy my Blu-Ray discs to a hard drive and watch in main room without using another blu-ray player.

I have an also have an LG burner, have tried AnyDVD HD and it rips, but only to spanish..I'm stumped. I've tried everything I can think of. I'd buy the thing if it wouldn't frikin rip to spanish every time. Any suggestions? I'm thinking it might be picking up just the spanish audio tracks, but have no clue how to remedy that situation. Thanks.
