hi i just downloaded need for speed most wanted and i wanted to know how to convert it so that i can play it on my psp. I currently have firmware 3.6 (not that i know what that means) and the game i downloaded is in two parts one is a folder saying PSP_GAME the other is UMD_DATA.BIN
Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Is it psp slim lite or Phat!
Sry dude original firmware 3.60 cant play no downloaded games.
You Need Custom Firmware.
so upgrade search forum here how 2 upgrade from 3.60 to example 3.71 M33-4
then you CAN run iso's or cso's

you will need pandora's battery to downgrade and install a custom firmware only then you can play isos from the memory stick

you will need umdgen to generate a iso from the PSP_GAME folder and the UMD_DATA.BIN file
start umdgen drag and drop the PSP_GAME folder and the UMD_DATA.BIN file to where it says "no items to show" then save as a iso

its a psp lite!
so let me get this straight i have to download pandoras battery?
and once ive done that and downgraded my firmware i then have to use umdgen to convert file to iso?
The other question i have is when i do downgrade does that have any other negative effects on my psp as far as gaming with umd goes, watching movies or anything else?

3e no if you UPGRADED to example 3.71 M33-4 or higher its not only
downgrading you have to go up again.
and No when you are all done everything is very save at the moment.
