I use U torrent, to download movies and games, I gotta call from my Internet Provider's tech team yesterday, telling me tht I am basicly uploading too much (seeding rather). They were telling me tht its slowing down my DL speed as well as others in the area. I am seeding like 2 torrents now. Is it tht big of a deal? How much truth is in that? Or are they just trying to scare me? They told me I should limit my uploads to 2-12 kbps, thts really slow?!?

Well, yes, it is pretty slow, but, from my experience, anything above an upload of 15kB/s will start to slow download speed. It varies quite a lot with different people, but in speed tests i have a maximum upload of about 45kB/s , whilst the download is something in the region of 850kB/s (An 8mb/s connection)
