Im going to save you time of waiting for the swap or mod chip from loading up a few times and resetting your system a dozen times to make it work. When you Rip or back up your game, Rename the ISO to DVD ROM just like that DVD ROM, Why cause ps2 reads DVD ROM first out of everything. It goes hey DVD ROM lets play. But if its anything else its like what the hell is that, im going to need you to reset. lol and if you play your back ups, you need swap disc or a modded ps2. Play at your own risk.
beave007 that's bull, the name of the ISO you burn isn't written to the disc. And sly is right, if you need to reset your ps2 to play games, it's not a good sign...
it doesn't matter what the iso name is. it's going to be replaced by the original name when burned.
if you need to reset to get it to work, then ditch the cheap media, switch to high class media like verbatim or sony, rip your games with dvd decrypter, and burn with imgburn at 4x.
