Today we bought two used psp's for presents, Sony fw 3.03 TA-82 and Sony fw 2.82 TA-82, I read, I either need to downgrade with GTA LCS.
Or maybe there is another way? Pandora way? Can I use my CFW PSP to do this?
I read somewhere that I could use the PSP with CFW I have a 3.71 M33-4? Or will this ruin the battery is there a link you could maybe throw at me and a brief explanation to the logic behind it.

What are your psp's....PHAT or SLIM?
If all your psp's are PHAT than use this guide.

If you have a custom firmware which you do then you can just mod your battery by using a hombrew instead of harmoded...did you even read the guide
its pretty simple
no need for messing up a battery just turn it back to normal after you've succesfully downgraded
do it my way...its safer and if you need help just ask

this wont require CMD....this was made for viata users who arent able to use CMD
so all you need is to follow instructions and then youll have both psp's down to 1.50 then you put the batteries that have been hacked into your psp...that's 3.71 m33-4 but has to be first turned on with an ac adapter .
and run the homebrew application and just press what it tells you to make batteries normal
ill help you out more in the morning
this is very easy ive used this guide in about 4 or 5 psp's and have downgraded them to 1.5o everytime succesfully

"Now download the 1.50 EBOOT HERE and rename it to UPDATE.PBP and place it in the ROOT of the memory Stick."
Not sure, is PSP folder the ROOT of the memory stick? If not what is the ROOT of the memory stick?

No the ROOT is where the PSP, mp_root, picture...etc. folders are found.
also at this point have your ac adapter pluged in.

This is how I've downgraded my FAT PSP with CF 3.71M33 to 1.50 Original FW:
* Copy the entire content of the attached file to PSP\GAME folder.
* Rename Original FW 1.50 file to UPDATE.PBP and copy it to PSP\GAME\UPDATE folder.
* In the Game menu launch "Update to X.Y.Z."
* Follow the onscreen instruction and it's done in a while.
I got a FAT PSP with motherboard prior to TA082. I've no responsibility if you damage your PSP with the above procedure.
