I'm sorry if this has been covered somewhere and I've missed it!

How do you link .RAR files together, so I can separate a large file into lots of small .RARS and, when someone else gets them, they just need to click on the first one and all the others join themselves to the first one, one after the other?

I've seen that trick done on everything I've downloaded from sites like Rapidshare. I have WinRAR, but I can't spot how to make the trick work!

Sorry for asking something so basic!

Assuming you have WinRAR installed, and you chose to add WinRAR to the right-click menu, in Windows Explorer, right click on the file you want to compress. Choose WinRAR, "add to archive...", then in the dialog look at the bottom left where it says "split to volumes, bytes". Type in the size you want each split file to be, set any other options you want, then click OK.
