Which is better?

GeForce 8600GTS Superclocked 512MB 128-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16

The 8800GT is FAR better than the 8600. It will kick a 8600s ass in Crysis, or in any game really.

This isnt an ordinary 8600. Its overclocked. Look at detailed specs.

It doesnt matter. A 8800GT is only a couple frames lower than a GTX, therefore a 8600, even if it was overclocked, would never come close to a 8800GT.

EDIT: I wouldnt get the overclocked version of the GT by the way. People complain that it runs to hot, well thats because it's overclocked! On stock clocks, the GT will do just fine.

Dude but the 8600 GTS has a gpu of 706mghz and memory clock of 2000mghz.

Wheres the 8800 only has a gpu of 600mghz and a memory clock of 1900mghz.

doesnt that matter?

In BF2142, the GT is more than 50 frames faster.




Overall, the GT had over a 1000fps lead on the 8600.

Trust me, the 8800GT is WAY better.
