I just got the Witcher yesterday and i've been playing it on a system I just built yesterday. I ran the SR Test on the machine and it's well above the requirements. It stutters alot, the game crashed after I used the first sign on the debris. When I first went into the game the settings were maxed out, I assume the game scanned the system and set these itself. But it performs terribly.

I'm running

WinXP Media Centre edition
Intel Quad Core Q6600
2GB of RAM
GeForce 8500GT

The only thing I can think of is that perhaps the power supply isn't strong enough, it's 480W. There's 3 casing fans, an 80GB and 400GB, Optical drive and the parts stated above running on it. Anyone thoughts?

Thanks in advance

Well the 8500 isnt that great of a card, in fact it is the 2nd slowest in the "8" series lineup.
