burned cd based ps2 game not working for slim ps2?

i had try burning cd based ps2 game. but it did not worked, is it because it won't work for slim ps2? and can i burn cd based games into dvd+r?

What modification are you using to play backups? Swap magic? All backups should work on the slimline, that includes cd-r and dvd-r, they will only work if the ps2 is however modified with a chip or you are using swap magic.

in order to play ps2 cd back up game you need
a) a blank cd to put the game on, maybe you burn a cd game on a dvd
b) swap magic cd version ,again not dvd version
please give us more details so we can help out, what game are you trying to play, what method are you using to play the game, what kind of ps2 are you using :)

to burn working ps2cd games into dvd-r you need to patch it for dvd-r.

1)extract iso with isobuster and also make a lba filelist
2)patch to dvd-r with DVDscanlite 3.5
3)rebuild with cdvdgen 1.5 as dvd-rom following the filelist as guide and extract as *.iml
4)convert iml to iso using gnie iml2iso tool
5)burn iso

what i said is just an overview and since there will be alot of space unused if you burn just one ps2cd game into DVD it will interest you to look in to multiple game compilations.
